DDA Board

The DDA is governed by an 11 member board of directors and is chaired by Shawn Riley. A majority of the members must be persons having an interest in property located in the downtown district. One member must be a resident of the district. The 11 member board is appointed by the mayor for staggered four year terms, and is currently made up of the following members:

• Shawn Riley - Realtor and Northville Resident (Chair)
• DJ Boyd - Northville resident (Vice Chair)
• Ryan McKindles - Northville resident and Attorney (Treasurer)
• Brian Turnbull - Mayor of Northville, and Northville resident
• Robert Miller, Architect and Downtown Business Owner
• Margene Buckhave - Downtown property owner, business owner Northville resident, and developer
• Jim Long - Downtown property owner, developer and business owner, Northville resident
• David Cole - Northville resident and downtown business owner
• Mike Jaafar - Downtown business owner and building owner
• Aaron Cozart - Downtown business owner and building owner
• Amy Bonsar - Downtown business manager

DDA Board of Director Officers are elected annually in January. The current DDA officers are:

• Chair - Shawn Riley
• Vice Chair - DJ Boyd
• Treasurer - Ryan McKindles
• Secretary - Stacy Pearson

The DDA Board of Directors meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month in Meeting Room A on the lower level of City Hall, 215 West Main Street. DDA Board meetings begin at 8:00 am and are open to the public. If you would like to be on the agenda for a specific topic, please contact the DDA office prior to the meeting.
